And So It Begins...

Disclaimer: I am probably one of the worst bloggers out there. I can honestly not remember how many blogs I’ve started over the years only to have them dissipate and disappear into the great chasm of the world wide web. I usually get really excited about it because I’m headed on some adventure or starting a new season of life, feeling as though I must document every step of the way.
I am truly hoping that this experience will be different. For one thing, I have a lot more content to share. I’ve been writing devotionals for a women’s ministry for about 2 years now. They’re called Lane of Roses and you really need to check them out! https://www.laneofroses.com/ You’ll find all the devotionals I’ve written for their blog along with a few writings of my own that were mostly written in a moment of inspiration.
Secondly, I am not necessarily voyaging out on a new and exciting season of life. I became a mom on June 10, 2021 so that definitely brings it’s challenges in this new season, but overall we’ve settled down to a good routine and life is back to a new type of normalcy. (Stay tuned for that to change about every other week!)
My prayer for this blogging experience is that I discover God’s faithfulness anew. He’s been so faithful despite my messes that I can’t help but recount and share some of those experiences. I hope that you find a community here that will allow you to also share how God has been faithful in your life. And if you’re struggling to find that faithfulness in your current season I pray that you find hope and a light in these words that God has inspired.
The blog posts won’t all be perfect (apologies in advance for any typos) and I’m sure you won’t agree with everything I post. I don’t claim to be anywhere close to finding all the answers. But maybe, just maybe, we can come together and find mutual joy in the retelling of God’s faithfulness through our ramblings.
